The OMB-DBK80 provides
16-channels of differential voltage
input for OMB-DAQBOARD-2000
Series and OMB-LOGBOOK
measurement systems. The
OMB-DBK80 can operate at the
full 100 KHz sample rate with no
degradation of published
performance. The OMB-DBK80
has a single, unity-gain input stage
on all channels.
When coupled with the on-board
x1 through x64 programmable
input gains on the OMB- DAQBOARD-2000
Series and OMB-LOGBOOK
product lines, the combination
provides full-scale input ranges
from ± 10V down to ±156mV full-scale
inputs. (±625mV to ±5V when used with OMB-DAQBOARD-2000 Series).
The OMB-DBK80’s ultra-low noise
design allows users to expand
their input channels up to 256
channels, without incurring
additional noise or inaccuracies
due to the input expansion cards.
Up to 16 OMB-DBK80’s can be
attached to one A/D system, and
can also be combined with any
other OMB-DBK series expansion
and signal conditioning options.
The OMB-DBK80 also has a +5V
or +10V precision voltage source
on-board (jumper selectable). This
can also be used to bias strain
gages, thermistors, or other
transducers that require biasing.
